Question: How many users can I follow?

You can follow up to 500 users. We recommend you be selective in who you follow as it will provide better insights through your Chatter feed.

 

Question: I posted something to my managers profile, who can see that?

Everyone will be able to see what you posted, as the profile page and the home page feeds are completely public. Feeds on objects, like accounts or opportunities are limited to who can see those.

 

Question: Can we invite customers to join Chatter?

Currently this function is not enabled due to Medtronic's policies.

 

Question: How do I search contents in the Chatter feed?

Use the "global search" box at the top of the screen, and then click on the "Search Chatter Updates" button on the left-hand column to search within Chatter feeds.

 

Question: How do I view private messages in the "Chatter for iPad" app?

Currently this functionality is not available in iPad or iPhone. This is only available in Blackberry.
